CURATOR'S NOTE
A contemplative ceramic piece centred on a solitary hare, quietly observing its surroundings. Soft washes of blue, green and earthy tones create a dreamlike landscape, while the irregular edge gives the work an organic, almost found-object quality. There is a gentle stillness to the piece that invites a slower gaze. Best suited for a gallery wall, reading corner, bedside space or intimate shelf display.
MATERIAL & CRAFT
Used clay to stack thin layers of clay on top of each other to almost create a dried paper like texture on the edges, once dried, the artist hand-painted a hare depicting curiosity and attention towards its surroundings.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the finish.
