CURATOR'S NOTE
A sculptural study of botanical form, the Bloom Series transforms a simple ceramic vessel into an expressive floral composition. Layers of hand-formed ceramic petals emerge organically from the rounded form, creating contrast between its restrained silhouette and richly textured surface. The piece celebrates the meeting of nature, material and contemporary ceramic practice.
MATERIAL & CRAFT
Handcrafted stoneware with a textured surface built through layered slip and crushed ceramic. The sculptural petals are individually formed and applied by hand before glazing, giving the piece its organic relief and tactile character.
