CURATOR'S NOTE
A softly rounded ceramic vessel brought to life through a rhythmic composition of hand-carved indigo blooms. The contrast between the natural ceramic ground and deep blue botanical motifs gives the piece a quiet, timeless quality while retaining the character of the hand. It would sit beautifully on a console, open shelving or a bedside table, particularly within calm, neutral interiors where the indigo pattern can become the focal point.
MATERIAL & CRAFT
Handcrafted ceramic vase featuring sgraffito, a technique in which floral motifs are carefully carved into the clay surface by hand before firing. The carved lines create depth and texture, while the indigo glaze brings definition to the botanical forms. Slight variations in the carving and finish are inherent to the handmade process.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the carving and finish.
