CRAFTED IN DELHI, INDIA
CURATOR'S NOTE
A bulbous stoneware vessel glazed in a wild collision of ochre, rust, and cobalt — the kind of surface that looks different every time light hits it. Pooling blues break through a mustard-drip finish, with a weighty bronze lid grounding the piece. Handmade, so no two will ever glaze quite the same way. Best placed where it can hold the room on its own.
MATERIALS & CRAFT
Hand-thrown stoneware body, high-fired for strength. Surface built from layered reactive glazes, an iron-rich rust/ochre base with cobalt breaking through, left to pool and blister unevenly in the kiln, giving each piece its own pattern. Lid is hand-finished bronze with a burnished, slightly uneven patina rather than a machined polish.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight to preserve the metallic finish.
